As Executive Producer of the State of Open Con (2023–2025), she is a globally sought-after keynote speaker. With 25 years of legal experience, including five as General Counsel at Canonical, Amanda has been instrumental in shaping open source legal frameworks, having been at the forefront of internet law in the early 2000s. She edited the acclaimed “Open Source: Law, Policy and Practice” (2022) and regularly contributes to leading tech publications. Amanda has received numerous accolades, including being named among Computer Weekly’s 50 Most Influential Women in UK Tech (2023, 2024) and Computing’s IT Leaders 100 (2023, 2024).
